Schuyler, Roche & Crisham, P.C. Large enough to to the job right, small enough to listen

Michelle Myers
Associate

Michelle Myers is a member of the rapidly growing regulatory, claims and insurance coverage team at Schuyler, Roche & Crisham, and she's proud to be joining her former colleague, Carrie Cope, a shareholder with the firm.

A student of political science during her undergraduate tenure at the University of Michigan, Michelle focused her attention on areas that had legal implications. In the summer of 2006, she earned an internship with The Honorable Melinda Morris in the Circuit Court of Washington County in Ann Arbor, Michigan. This role gave Michelle the opportunity to build a substantive understanding of and appreciation for the law.

While working as a law clerk for a Chicago firm during her law school years at Chicago Kent School of Law (J.D. 2010), Michelle gained significant experience in insurance regulatory work as well as the history and law behind directors' and officers' insurance. Her extensive research and publication editing on these topics earned the confidence of partners and peers alike. One of those partners was Carrie Cope.

Impressed by Michelle's legal acumen and work ethic, even at such an early stage in her professional life, when Carrie moved her regulatory and specialty lines claims practice to Schuyler Roche earlier this year (2010) the timing was perfect for the new law school graduate to join her mentor and the team at Schuyler, Roche & Crisham...a firm with "just the right size, atmosphere and eye on growth" at which to launch her legal career.
